Dr. Sellars is Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. He completed his residency training at NYU-Langone Medical Center/ Rusk Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine in New York City. Subsequently, Dr. Sellars completed an AOA accredited fellowship in Sports Medicine at Cleveland Clinic, where he also trained to perform interventional spine procedures.
During his fellowship year, he served as a team physician for athletes at the high school, collegiate and professional levels. As a fellow, he also was one of the physicians for the Lake Erie Crushers, an independent league professional baseball team. In the spring of 2012 he spent time performing medical evaluations at the Cleveland Indians’ Spring Training Camp in Goodyear, Arizona.
Dr. Sellars is a diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.Recently he held an appointment as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York City. Dr. Sellars has authored and co-authored numerous case reports and scholarly articles.
